Ben je op zoek naar een nieuw 🏐-team voor komend seizoen?

Vanaf september zijn wij op zoek naar nieuwe spelers op verschillende niveaus en posities. Ben jij al klaar om lid te worden? Meld je aan voor een proeftraining, zo kan je vast voor de zomer eens in de zaal mee trainen om jouw volleybaltalenten te laten zien 💥. Zo kunnen we tijdig op zoek naar een goede match! Vanaf mei vind je ons alleen nog op het zand 🏖️, maar ben je alsnog heel welkom voor een proeftraining.

Aarzel niet, vol is vol! Ga jij mee ons lustrum jaar in 🎉🎊?

Het is inmiddels een vaste waarde op de KVA-kalender: met een grote groep trekken we er ieder jaar op uit voor twee heerlijke toernooien op de Waddeneilanden.

Op Texel waren we weer welkom bij de vriendelijke mensen van Tevoko, waar het dit jaar goed vertoeven op de zonnige grasvelden. KVA speelde volledig in het thema ‘Klaar voor Artis’, met een delegatie van Adelaars, Axolotls, Alpaca’s, Antilopes en Anaconda’s (en twee geblesseerde mannen die hard konden Aanmodderen). Natuurlijk vertrok de beestenboel in de late uurtjes richting De Koog om los te gaan in de lokale bar Sjans.

Op 26 Juni vertrek een historisch grote groep van meer dan 50 (!) KVA’ers en vrienden richting Ameland, voor beachvolleybal bij Summer Beach Life of allicht in de Nationale Beach Competitie. Of er echt hard gepresteerd gaat worden is nog even de vraag, want er schijnt ook een Neon-themafeest op het strand gehouden te worden.

Start training
De trainingen beginnen weer vanaf 25 augustus! 

De conceptteams en het trainingsschema staan op de website. Beide worden uiterlijk 7 september definitief, dus tot die tijd kan er nog wat veranderen.

Niet elk team heeft al een tweede training, maar na 7 september kun je je inschrijven voor extra teamtrainingen (vol = vol). Tot de inschrijvingen open zijn, mag iedereen gratis meedoen met extra trainingen—overleg wel even met de trainer.

Vanaf maandag 25 augustus (oneven week) volgen we het nieuwe schema.

Training starts
Training starts again from 25 August!

The concept(!) team rosters and training schedules are on the website. Both will be finalised by September 7, so changes are still possible until then.

Not every team has a second practice yet, but after September 7, you can register to join additional team practices (first come, first served). Until registrations open, everyone is welcome at extra practices for free, just check with the trainer first.

From Monday, August 25 (uneven week), we’ll use the new schedule.

Each year, KVA visits two great Island tournaments:
23-25 May: Texel
27-29 June: Ameland

Texel
The first is a fantastic Texel weekend with two days of splendid 6v6 grass volleyball, two nights of crazy parties, and a cozy weekend with your KVA friends.

How to join the KVA delegation:
Make sure you’re in the Texel 2025 Whatsapp group by 15 January. No WhatsApp? Contact pr@kvavolleybal.nl before January 7th.

After this day, you can only join if we have incomplete teams or if another person grants you their spot. Note that after 15 January, we’ll incur costs for you, which you’ll be expected to pay for (see below).

We take care of:
-> Registration of KVA teams at the tournament
-> Comfortable cottages to sleep in (Friday-Sunday), bed linen and kitchen towel provided, bring your own towel.
-> Bikes (Friday-Sunday)
-> Dinner on Saturday evening (we order something cozy at the cottages); breakfast and beer at the cottages.
Expect to pay around ~200 euros for this package.

What do you have to arrange yourself:
-> Transport to Texel (incl boat); usually there are plenty of cars available.
-> Dinner on friday night (which depends on your travel schedule).
-> Lunch during the tournament (most of us get bread and spreads at the supermarket in the morning).
-> Drinks at the bar.

Ameland
The second island tournament – a fantastic Ameland weekend (27-29 June) with two days of splendid 2×2 (3×3 or 4×4 also possible if you prefer) beach volleyball, which some say is much more fun than volleyball on gras 😚. Besides that, there will be two nights of crazy parties, sunny weather and a cozy weekend with your KVA friends.

How to join the KVA delegation:
Make sure you’re in the Ameland 2025 Whatsapp group in the KVA Community by January 1st. No WhatsApp? Contact pr@kvavolleybal.nl before December 27th.

After this day, you can only join if we have spaces left in the bungalows. Note that after 1 Jan, we’ll incur costs for you, which you’ll be expected to pay for (see below). You should find a beachpartner and arrange the registration for the tournament yourself, but there will be more people in the group looking for a partner. It is possible to sign up for the Saturday and Sunday tournament, or for the Saturday only (what most people do and do freeplay with KVA on Sunday).

We take care of:
-> Comfortable cottages to sleep in (Friday-Monday).
-> Bikes (Friday-Monday)
-> Dinner on Friday evening; breakfast/small lunch and beer at the cottages.
Expect to pay around ~€200 for this package.

What do you have to arrange yourself:
-> Registration for the tournament with your beachteam.
-> Transport to Ameland (incl boat); usually there are plenty of cars available.
-> Dinner on Saturday night (option to cook/order something with your house or go out for dinner).
-> Extra food during the tournament.
-> Entrance for and drinks at the parties.

Het is eindelijk weer zover! 🎉 Op maandag 16 december is er geen training, maar het jaarlijkse oliebollentoernooi! 🏐🎄🎆

Hmm, het oliebollentoernooi… Hoe ging dat ook alweer? 🤔

Nou, heel simpel: onderweg naar de sporthal haal je een zakje oliebollen bij je favoriete oliebollenkraam. 🛍✨ Meld je aan bij de aanmeldtafel en laat de organisatoren je in een team plaatsen. Als alle teams zijn gemaakt, spelen we gezellig wat mixpotjes, en tussendoor genieten we natuurlijk van die overheerlijke oliebollen die jullie hebben meegebracht! 😋

Voor de jeugd: Zorg dat je om 17:15 uur omgekleed in de hal bent om je aan te melden. Om 17:30 uur start het toernooi!

Voor de senioren: Aanmelden en opwarmen kan vanaf 19:30 uur, en om 20:00 uur begint jullie toernooi!

PS Moedig tussendoor Dames 1 aan; die spelen de 8e finale van de beker!

It’s finally that time of year again! 🎉 On Monday, December 16th, there will be no training, but instead, the annual Oliebollen Tournament! 🏐🎄🎆

Hmm, the Oliebollen Tournament… How does that work again? 🤔

It’s easy: on your way to the sports hall, grab a bag of oliebollen from your favorite oliebollen stand. 🛍✨ Sign up at the registration table, and the organizers will place you in a team. Once the teams are formed, we’ll play some fun mixed matches, and in between games, we’ll enjoy the delicious oliebollen you brought! 😋

For youth players: Make sure you’re dressed and ready in the hall by 5:15 PM to sign up. The tournament kicks off at 5:30 PM!

For senior players: Registration and warm-up start at 7:30 PM, and your tournament begins at 8:00 PM!

PS In between, cheer on Ladies 1; they are playing the 8th final of the cup!

Zorg dat je op tijd aanwezig bent bij wedstrijden in de Wethouder Verheijhal! De hal wordt steeds vaker een half uur van tevoren gehuurd. Dat betekent dat je om 18:30 of 20:30 bij de wedstrijd wordt verwacht om in te spelen, zodat de wedstrijden stipt om 19:00 of 21:00 beginnen. Wedstrijden mogen helaas ook niet langer uitlopen – daarom vragen we iedereen om mee te helpen om zaken als veldopbouw, inspelen, DWF, en tijd tussen sets vlot te laten verlopen.

Op 19 oktober organiseren wij na de thuisspeeldag de bombastische bierpongborrel! 🎉

Na de wedstrijden heb je de mogelijkheid om in de kantine of ergens in de buurt een hapje te gaan eten. Inloop is om 9 uur, je hoeft je niet van tevoren aan te melden.

We spelen een knock-out toernooi in teams van 2 of 3. Als je al een team hebt, kun je jezelf gezamenlijk aanmelden. Heb je nog geen team? Geen zorgen! We koppelen je ter plekke aan iemand.

Belangrijk: De bekers worden gevuld met water om de kantine een beetje schoon te houden. Je haalt je eigen drankje bij de bar. Dus doe je aan een vervroegde dry-January? Geen probleem!

Moge de beste ponger winnen! 🏆

🇬🇧 On October 19, we are organizing the bombastic beer pong gathering after the home game day! 🎉

Concept:
After the matches, you will have the opportunity to grab a bite to eat in the cafeteria or somewhere nearby. Doors open at 9 PM, and you do not need to register in advance.

We will play a knock-out tournament in teams of 2 or 3. If you already have a team, you can sign up together. If you don’t have a team yet, no worries! We will pair you with someone on the spot.

Important: The cups will be filled with water to keep the cafeteria a bit cleaner. You will get your own drinks at the bar. So, if you are doing an early dry January, that’s not a problem!

May the best pong player win! 🏆
